• All payments must be made by the date stated on the invoice. If a deposit is requested your booking is not confirmed until this is received.

• Any illness or injury that may affect your participation must be declared in advance.

• If you are unwell with an infectious illness (Including COVID 19) then you will not be allowed to participate. In this event our standard cancellation policy will apply.

• Occassionally the weather or conditions may cause a safety issue and we may need to adjust the booking. In this case an alternative route or date (usually either side of your booking) will be offered.

• To confirm your place we will ask for a 20% non-refundable deposit.

• If you cancel your booking more than 60 days in advance then a full refund (minus the deposit) can be requested.

• If you cancel more than 30 days in advance then a 50% refund will be offered or an alternative trip/date can be chosen depending on availability.

• If you cancel more than 14 days (less than 30) in advance, then you will be liable for 80% of the full amount.

• If you cancel less than 14 days for advance bookings you will be liable for the full amount.

• More to Explore are not liable for any independent bookings made that may be impacted via cancellation e.g accommodation, flights or transport. If you booked accommodation as part of a package then the above terms apply.

• Any bookings made as part of a package will be refunded as per the above guidelines. If your cancellation is after the period stated by our providers eg. transport or accommodation, then you will be notified and we will attempt to find alternative options for you. If no alternatives can be found you will be liable to pay this portion of the fee.

• If More to Explore are offering a consultancy package then in the event of cancellation, you will be entitled to a refund as above, minus any consultation and planning days worked prior to the cancellation.

All of our outdoor activities can be physically demanding, you must be fit enough to participate in the activity you have booked onto. If you are unsure of the fitness requirements, please contact us for a chat. Climbing, mountaineering and swimming activities can be hazardous with a risk of personal injury. Individuals must recognise there is a moderate risk of minor injury such as twisted ankles, whereas the risk of more serious injuries can be minimised by following advice and instruction from the guide.

By booking a trip with us, you are aware of and accept these risks and will be responsible for your own actions and involvement. More to Explore (Mikaela Toczek) will guide you on how to manage these risks, but we can never completely remove them.

More to Explore (Mikaela Toczek) has full public liability insurance, but the advice is for you to take out your own relevant personal accident / cancellation insurance. If you already have insurance, check that it covers you for the activity you are undertaking.

• We will always endeavour to find the best conditions for our snowshoeing tours.

• A range of options will be offered in the planning stages of your trip, but final decisions on route and location will be made based on the actual conditions, in the days leading up to your booking.

• Snowshoes are simply the tools we use to enable winter hiking in deep snow. Our changing climate means occasionally there may not be enough snow for snowshoeing. If this does occur, then we will offer an equally beautiful winter hiking route, with whichever equipment is deemed appropriate on the booked dates.

As part of your tour More to Explore may take photographs of you participating in the activity. These will be shared with you after the tour and may occasionally be used in promotional materials both online and in-print for More to Explore.

The personal information requested by More to Explore at the time of booking plus any subsequent information is held digitally. The information is required to assist More to Explore and our guides to facilitate the course/trip and maintain our high standards of delivery.

By providing us with the information to confirm your booking you are agreeing the information can be kept and accessed by More to Explore and our guides. Contact details will only be used for future offers by email, messaging and phone only if you have given us permission to do so. We will never share the information provided with any person or business outside More to Explore.
