All of our comfortable and welcoming accommodation is carefully selected by Mikaela to suit your group. We offer a choice of working farms, small hostels, campsites and welcoming alpine cottages, giving you a real taste of Slovene culture and hospitality.   • Any time! I will always offer suggestions that are best suited to the time of year you would like to travel, and Slovenia is beautiful all year round.

  • Depending on when you travel and your chosen activities it may be Mikaela (and you can request me specifically), or one of our amazing local guides, who are all personally known, and experienced local experts.

    Mikaela is an International Mountain Leader with almost 20 years of experience working in the outdoor sector, leading school expeditions all over the world, supervising and assessing DofE at all levels and is a fully qualified secondary teacher.

  • Due to the nature of our bespoke trips the price per person will vary for each itinerary. For example a 7 day hiking itinerary with hostels and huts start at around £700pp (with all the inclusions and exclusions outlined above). We will always work to your budget to craft the perfect journey and I always welcome enquiries.

  • The weather varies dramatically in Slovenia depending on when you travel. From snow-covered winter wonderlands, to dramatic rain storms and bluebird days with everything in between. We will always do our best to offer the best possible experience, and may be able to swap days to suit the weather but this may not always be possible. Whatever the weather we know you will enjoy an unforgettable experience.

  • Yes! I have a range of wonderful options available in partnership with accommodation that has experience of working with young people with additional learning needs and disabilities. We often have these options for sole use (and this can be specifically arranged), and we arrange a full itinerary including evening activities, groups reflection, quiet times and spaces for those who benefit from time to themselves. My experience means, I know where and how to apply for exemption for tourist tax and who to contact for additional discounts for specific activities. I have worked with fully-funded trips, and promise an unforgettable experience for every adventure, regardless of budget.
